Leadership
Leadership, awards and understanding about the world around us
Our pupils from P4-7 are given leadership opportunities through School Council, Eco-Warriors, buddies, dinner monitors, librarians, Digital leaders, anti-bullying ambassadors, Junior Road Safety officers and the PE team. We have a number of sports teams, active choir and take part in a range of community events and activities.

We encourage our pupils to be active participants in their learning journey and to develop creative thinking, problem-solving and collaborative group skills.

Weekly awards in school to celebrate achievements for representation in our school ethos, through our Superheroes. There are also opportunities to celebrate individual or team talents in sport, music, drama and other areas of development.

At Cedar IPS, we want to really offer our pupils the opportunity to understand the world around them and celebrate with their friends at school. Therefore, we enjoy educating our children and celebrating a range of activities, cultural events and religious observances across the school year.

We have a specialist week focusing specifically on ICT safety too!
